Savannah's "Bird Girl" statue was made famous when it appeared on
the dust jacket of the best seller Midnight in the Garden of Good and
Evil. The statue, sculpted by Sylvia Shaw Judson, used to
stand in Savannah's Bonaventure Cemetery but had to be removed because of the notoriety
the novel gave to it. Now it can be seen at the Telfair Museum of Art in Savannah.
