Closing
The closing should read "Sincerely," followed by your signature
underneath, then your full name in print underneath that. Always leave enough
room for your signature between the closing and your name when you print your
cover letter. Your signature should always be handwritten in ink.
Your letter should now look something like this.

Dear Mr. Smith:
|
|
|
I appreciated the opportunity to interview at your office on Monday.
The tour of the facilities and conversations with Tallon's staff
gave me a clear overview of the role of software engineers at your
facility. In particular, I was impressed with the state-of-the-art
equipment in Tallon's computer labs and the exciting software
development that is being conducted there.

|
|
The entire experience has confirmed my
desire for employment as a executive
secretary with Tallon Corporation. My internship at a
comparable software company in Columbia has prepared me well for
this position. Based on my interview, I think I would fit in well
with the Tallon staff.

Thank you again for the experience of
getting to know your organization better. I would welcome the
opportunity to work for the Tallon Corporation, and I look forward
to hearing from you in the next two weeks.
Sincerely,
Karen Jones
