Even though the holiday of Thanksgiving is tradtionally associated with the Puritans, Plimouth Plantation, and the first part of the 17th century, we can still learn what foods and preparation methods were available to the people of Salem Village in 1692 by studying their neighbors, the Pilgrims.  The readings that you are about to do are full of information.  Make sure you list facts from each site in your notebook.
