What does the conservation of mass mean?  Give an example.


Once you have completed the experiment, consider the following and discuss thoroughly in your lab report.

1.  Explain what might have happened if there was a difference in mass.

2.  What were some possible sources of error?  How could these be minimized?

3.  Was this reaction a chemical change or a physical change?  What is your evidence?

4.  Explain an experiment where you could prove that there would be a conservation of mass.
